It's ok, not a very large slope though. Very pricey IIRC
The surface is great though (compared to a dry slope)

Cool

There's another one in Kent. Search for 'Snow Bowl Chatham' on google and you'll find plenty of pages, including a BBS which has some opinions.

Sounds like a laugh, anyway.

Its good, though the slope at X-scape in Milton Keynes is better. But neither of them is worth the trip from Scotland in my opinion. The slopes are small and very crowded (think public swimming baths crowded), expensive and are of no use to the experienced skier. For a learner to try the snow before going abroad it might be a good idea, otherwise hold on to your money. I live 45 mins drive from Milton Keynes and I can't even justify that trip. Once all the costs are added up its 90 quid for two people to ski for 2.. yes that's right TWO hours.

If ya gonna go, go on a weekday when it's quieter and try and get on the slope just after a grooming session... Milton Keynes has better quality snow - not as icy, but I think Tamworth is overall the better slope...

PS. Are you boarding or skiing?

Edited to say Tamworth often do good deals in the week - you can often get two hours for about 20quid...

Kitzsteinhorn glacier at Kaprun or Hintertux glacier at Mayrhofen. Summer skied them in both in June/July, much better than Snowdome

I'm an intermidiate boarder so I can get down a hill without falling and ride a little fakie.

Just want to get on the board before next years trip to Andorra.

a fellow boarder In that case you should get down to the snowboard night on Saturday's - better in the summer as it's not as busy... If you decide to go I might wax the board and come for a ride...

I rode Milton Keynes a few times and it's at least a laugh. More fun if you're into jumping - make sure you bring a helmet. If you have kids or are a kid the sledging is great fun too.

Best summer boarding I've ever experienced was the Remarkables in New Zealand - remarkable!

I was in pas de la casa this year , it was so good I'll go back next feb. the ski area was massive the whole area was over four peaks.

Not enough black runs but the boarder X track was a good laugh.

RB5-Black, Hi, I too am a boarder and used to travel up the Tamworth for the weekends camping in Drayton Manor Park just down the road. checkout www.theboarder.co.uk for the lowdown on all the indoor slopes. Chalet Snowboard do a summer camp in Les 2 Alpes which I have been to and that is a good option for summer too.
