Yeah but the film is nonsense anyway. I keep reading how Batman and Superman team the two superheroes together for the first time.... Batman is not a superhero!!!!

I just hope this doesn't in some way tarnish the legacy of Nolan's excellent Batman trilogy!

That's the worst choice ever, they could've gave the part to a new exciting actor or somebody better suited to proper action.

the roles are different. playing the joker lets the actor really ham it up and have a bit of fun whereas there is a certain something required for the bruce wayne/batman role. christian bale had it for sure and although considered a funny choice at the time michael keaton played him well for the style of that batman film which had an element of comedy to it. maybe he will pull out a performance who knows.

Or the batsuit should have rubber nipples and a bulging crotch piece.

Affleck to replace Bale. This Football transfer window is getting a little out of hand.

Thought they wanted someone older. Josh Brolin would have been a good choice.

I'll hold back till I see the film.

With the last batman films they made with C.Bale they got the concept of how batman should of been from the start, before those other joke of a batman films that they made before.Ben Affleck has some massive shoes to fill,I just personally don't think he can can fill them, but will just have to wait and see.SJ.

I can't see it following the trend of the last Batman films. It doesn't matter if your a fan of superheroes or comics, the film was realistic (even with a chap dressed like a bat) and had moral and human issues.
Superman is just never going to have any serious emotion to it.

Think Heath Ledger wasn't brilliant as the joker, really played the part well.
As for Affleck as the new batman, think it's going to ****e, the ones with Bale pretty much captured the comics in my opinion

Lets not dance around the subject Ben Alfeck is a **** actor that seems to have attended the Keanu Reeves School of Acting but unlike Keanu, he's an unlikeable turd.

I've heard mixed reports about the latest Superman, so I don't have much faith in this one being good.

Fair summary, he was **** in the film where he was a blind super hero. The new superman in my opinion is very good, maybe should have split it with more dedicated to krypton then the rest in another. Seen it twice now as got a card that lets me go to the cinema as much as I want and enjoyed it more the second time

Hope they get Kevin Smith to direct the new film

He seems to be the only one who can get anything approaching a decent performance out of him

It was kind of entertaining I suppose but not exactly realistic, but I know what you mean because they tried to give Batman a bit of complexity but then the Burton era films did the same IMHO and Batman returns is really good. The Nolan Batman films are a little overrated I think in retrospect, the middle one is only really good cos of Heath Ledger's Joker. The first is ok but the last one is a muddle and didn't fulfil it's potential.
