Hi Guys,
Going to see some friends in Ireland anybody had any problems with car hire??.......We are flying to Dublin and going to hire one from the airport, wanted to take the Scoob but the air fair was only £16 return each against £300 plus for ferry and fuel, Any help greatly received.

No problems hiring a car at Dublin airport, but maybe better to book before you go to make sure they've a car for you. Same as in the UK - clean licence and a credit card is all you need. IIRC I used Irish Car Rental when I was there in March - Opel Astra auto was an easy car to travel around in.
