Paxman and beards.
Jeremy Paxman has been on TV sporting a beard and caused quite a few comments.
What's your opinion on beards?
Do you have a beard?
Mine is a Brian Blessed type beard, who's beard is yours like?.
No, I am not a tree-hugger.
Females need not answer qestion 2.

The good thing about having a bushy beard is that when I shave it off no one will recognise me and I will look a lot younger.(hopefully)

Franky, not every man looks good in beard (even if it's just a goaty), but they must have reasons to hide their pretty face, so why not.
Five O' Clock shadow is much more suitable for chiselled faces. It looked good on George Michael when he were green.
I thought Jonaffan Roff looked better with mooch and beard.

broke my right wrist three times in 2006...right handed so bearded ever since. Clipped short and as much grey as ginger in it these days.
I've always found the tipping point is 16-18 days in for the itch period, then it's long enough to be comfortable...
Good way of dropping ten years over night is shaving it off...feels weird though

I've been bearded for about 18 months, MrsD still isn't entirely keen but I like it. Saves a fortune in razor blades
Appearance wise, it's more than Paxman, but less than Blessed

This thread is useless without pictures TBH. Put up your pictures with before and after shaving your beard, then us Scoobynet massive can decide whether you look like a peanut of what. You can actually post your current pictures with beards, and we can decide who looks like an axe murderer and who looks like a kind preacher.

Oddly enough Jack, I trimmed my Brian Blessed down to a Sean Connery to make me look more handsome.
Failed.
Turby, my pictures are already on crimewatch, wanted for being fugly.

I'm an upside down head. I shave my head bald and have a 5-6" long goatee. Sometimes i let the sides grow and sometimes shave it when i do my head. I like to sit frowning at people while stroking my beard.

I tried growing a beard but then it turned into a goatee and it was getting very thick and long and I liked it....no one else did, so then I trimmed it and now have a goatee that even a teenager would turn his nose up at as it looks ****e because I look 12 and my facial hair is ginger/blonde.
My reasoning for growing it though wasn't any sort of statement other than at 28years of age, I still suffer from bad skin and wanted to cover it up a bit.

Do you remember your selfie that you posted on the Muppet Show once? That was quite a serious shot, as far as I remember.
After reading Chopperman and Jamz as well about their upside down head and ginger goatee, I think it is essential that you lot post your bearded pics. Can do with some entertainment atm on NSR.

Well, now I've had my haircut today, no ponytail and short hair.
Gone is the hairy biker image and in is my bald patch.
Turby, I remember that, I need to get one with my new look but I can't risk breaking camera lenses.

Shame about your hairy biker ponytail going, G. You must have a pic with that and your beard. We need to see how you looked at that amazing beard of yours, and without.
