It's the Asda charity day and sadly you have to be invited to get in:

My understanding is that you have to pay to get in, but the drivers belong to invited clubs.

This is the entry information from the official website:

http://www.on-your-marks.info/?page_id=29

I went as a guest of the WR1OC back in 2011 but I assumed I wouldn't be able to get in this year as I'd not applied to them again in advance. Bruntingthorpe is only ten minutes drive (or an hour or so's walk) from me too.

It's where I got my first one bud , this year I emailed them direct and they sent the link to download the tickets.
For everybody who hasn't been....it's the best family day out you could imagine.
They asked my 12 year old daughter if she fancied doing a lap in the artic......she bottled it

It was brilliant in 2011 too, indeed a day genuinely for the whole family.

There's some photos from yesterday here:

Ive been as a driver in, I think, 2008. I quite fancied a go in the articulated lorries, but didnt get the chance. I have an HGV licence but Id like to try something new and shiny and semi-automatic...
