Default Oh dear - global warming seems to have stalled

Even the BBC. the biggest supporter of the manmade global warming doomsday scenario (at the behest of the UK government of course - tax opportunities folks) have just about admitted global warming seems to have stalled.

So does that mean they are going to stop building ghastly wind turbines on every bit of land possible ?
Is the doomsday lack of electricity the scare going to take over from global warming ?

Man-made CO2 will lead to catastrophic climate change so leading Government bodies tell us. We pay our green taxes on energy and transport to build more wind turbines, levy more green duty on polluting companies......in the mean time lets build another runway at Heathrow.

We need another runway somewhere, otherwise we as a country risk loosing business to mainland Europe - think of the all the money Heathrow contributes directly and indirectly to the local and national economy. Can we afford to gradually lose that, have we got anything to replace it with?

You could argue that the 'green machine' could be used to offset the GHG and end up with more being saved than emitted (wishful thinking I know). Also a 3rd runway will not have the same environmental impact as it would of done 10 - 15 years ago, or 5 years in the future as it does now - Airplanes are getting more fuel efficient. You could also impose strict operating procedures for the 3rd runway - all planes using it must adhere to env standard XYX.

Economy first, Environment 2nd, otherwise, Environment won't even make it onto the list, and that is when the real decline in the environment will occur.

Although there is nothing wrong with investing in renewable energy sources, anyone that believed that 'climate change' (not global warming) is man made, is an idiot.

This, Thatcher starter the global warming theory as she wanted more nuclear power and that seemed the most sensible way to get people on board but there is no way they will stop this money spinner now as its a multi million pound business.

I think we should cut down every tree and burn as much coal and oil as possible.

i need to go out in the scoob more. Obviously Im not doing enough mileage to warrant the green tax I pay for these so-called global warming rubbish.

And on that bombshell, I rented a motorhome a couple of weeks ago, and when I looked at the tax disc, it was £220 for £12 months.
This is a big hunking 2.3D getting between 14-20mpg

I pay £500 odd for my 2.5 scoob. I get 21-37mpg depending on how i drive
Glad I took the cats off now. Feeling well ripped off.
