Jeans.
As the owner of a pair of Hugo Boss jeans, i can say that paying extra for jeans is worth it. Better fit and better material. On top of that, they stay smarter for longer.
Now looking for a second pair of "decent" jeans. What the competition. Paul Smith or Vivienne Westwood take my fancy.
(and before anyone comments on the price, £ per minute worn,a decent pair of jeans are one of the best value items of clothing you can buy)

I like Armani jeans as they are an excellent fit as are Versace but you have to go a size up for those. Hugo Boss jeans are my most common ones I wear and I do have Paul Smith ones which my missus loves me wearing them as she thinks they are a fantastic fit but I prefer Armani to the Paul Smith ones.
Forgot about a pair of Dolce Gabbana jeans I have now I really like the fit on them and would definitely recommend those.

I bought a pair of expensive Sonneti jeans when I was 17, very expensive considering my wage at the time. 10 years later I'm still wearing them (right now infact as i'm about to wash the car). Bought an expensive (in my opinion) pair of Firetrap jeans less than 6months ago and they are completely mangled already.
having been round the HQ of Levi Jeans in SF, they had an exhibition on tell you about the history of Levi Strauss and showed you the adverts over the years. My wife didn't know who Flat Eric was when I pointed out the puppet!!! lol

Then got some espadrilles for my holiday and didn't even make it the week before the sole was coming off
I've got cheap jeans from Asda, Primarni and even eBay jobbies that have lasted years. Also bought others a bit more expensive and they last no longer IMO. Tastes change and I wouldn't wanna be wearing some boring plain blue jeans for 20 odd years so like to chop/change (I'm not gay by the way).
Paying more for jeans is generally something I agree with. However I bought some Diesel jeans which were very poor quality. The denim wore through at a fast rate. I took them back to House of Fraser, complained and they gave me some Levis (and a voucher for the difference) which have lasted for several years.
I think it might just be the brand as I have had a couple of Diesel tops that have also worn badly.

It all depends on your build. Certain brands mentioned on here just don't fit right for me.
Since jeans usually last quite a while its not as if I'm out there once a month jeans shopping - so whether its a £50 pair of next or £130 pair of diesels it doesn't really matter

TBH, dunno how it works.
My favourite jeans were a straight legged Lacoste in Indigo blue. They lasted for ages, but I now can't find them anywhere in the house. A new pair, off then internet, is almost twice what they cost me from the Lacoste shop I purchased them in originally.
For day to day, especially with a pet bear (in my case), Primarni makes more sense. I suppose it's down to what you need them for. When I'm cleaning equipment, on a site, or getting grubby, then it's Dickies workwear - simply as it's cheap, if it's out of work, Primarni jeans will suit - as I'll be drowned in dog snot etc. For a proper night out, I have one pair of jeans, which probably see less than 1 months wear per year...
My mate is due to fly in to the UK from the EU soon, I may ask him to pick me up another pair of Lacoste, simply for the discount. Then again, I might not bother. I'm used to having a pet bear and being covered in dog snot.

I used to buy 501's if I needed them to have any longevity (I wore black ones to work in lieu of trousers), but I must admit, the fit isn't what it used to be. I have muscular legs and they're a shade tight on the thighs.
Surprisingly, primarni, Tesco, George jeans seem to fit better, although they don't last as long, but they do have some nice styles on the "fashion jeans", of which I keep a couple for nights out, although to be fair, they get very little use.
Most of my day to day pairs now are Lee Cooper, as they're a good fit and do seem to last. It helps that they don't cost the earth.
I did have a pair of (what I deem) expensive Diesel jeans that lasted me an age, I literally wore them to death. Now I just can't seem to justify the cost of them.

Apart from that had Levi,Timberland,Diesel.
I just find the cheap jeans rubbish fitting and don't last.
