Very touching moment, but a shame that the camera crew/reporter didn't help immediately. As a dog lover myself, I know I would have.

What a wonderful bit of television that is. Full marks to the lady for her brave attitude to life and its adversities, and how good it is to see her get her dog back safe and sound.

I wonder if people get help with rebuilding, I suppose they must.
If you know it's bound to happen every year

I will be honest I don't usually find dog / cat / rabbit stories at all emotional but that one was real life happening at the moment of the interview - good to see and thanks for posting it.

You think they stuffed the dog in the hole first?

They don't bother with bricks as they are equally useless.... faced by an explosive decompression and 200+ mph winds.
It would just add more heavy shrapnel to the mix.
dunx
P.S. Concrete bunker beneath the house is the solution. Perhaps schools should have a sizeable bombproof cellar ?
