corded are powerful and cheap, but limited by the flex and the casing size makes them bulky to use.
I have an 18v SnapOn cordless. Expensive, but IMO worth it.
This was discussed in some detail on RetroRides....

Size matters. I have 5 or 6 air guns (probably more if I really looked!) and only 1 eclectric. The electric is used on small stuff, 13-17mm. Does the job ok but often end up getting the air line out anyway. What you working on mostly?
Dont foget that if you struggle with a bolt then all the power in the world wont help as the bolt will often snap anyway.

lol, derp.
DO NOT tighten up wheelnuts with it. Ever.
first off, unless you start the nut by hand, if you get it slightly squint it will cross thread the nut in a fraction of a second.
Secondly, you will never get them off again when you try using the wee wheel wrench that comes with the car when you have a flat at the side of the road.
Torque them properly. With a torque wrench. Properly.
Wheel nuts are supposed to be a fair bit looser than most people imagine..... 65 lb/ft is pretty common for steel wheels and alloys are usually about 85....check your service manual.

What's a good impact to get now? Have a 18v snap on and a Ingersoll rand air impact gun , but they are getting a bit tired now and need replacing as used everyday
Are the Milwaukee as good as the snap on or is it best just to buy another snap on gun?
Was looking at something like this
