Anywhere that permanently has a sale on concerns me. It's cheap stuff being made to look like a bargain.
I'd prefer to buy from somewhere that just claims to be cheap rather than hving fake sales (Dreams were on Watchdog a few times for that)

Even with the sales on they weren't cheap. I went there to look for a Mattress for my new bed, £300! and it wasn't memory foam or anything like that. Went to Ikea and got one just as firm for £100.
Companies like this will always go under when they're charging as much as they do, there'll always be someone doing the same cheap with just as much quality.

If a company 'deserved' to go bump, its this lot.
I mean contsantly having a sale every week. Adverts saying "hurry: Sale ends soon" only for it to still be on a month later.
ASA should ream their ***** for it. But they never do
Sod the sale and just state the price; nobody belives in 60% double discounts anymore. We all know its over-inflated retail prices made excessively high just so that they can advertise such huge discounts.

Well they still got big somehow. I think it's the lack of consumer credit available; all these firms relied on it. So no great worry that the never never model is dying on its butt.

Good riddance, robbing b'stards
Infamous for selling the same mattresses everyone else sells, but naming them differently and quadrupling the price. Ours is a Sleepeezee Backcare Ultimate 2000 which we paid £385 delivered inc 5yr g/tee. In Dreams it was called the Sleepeezee Cairo and was £1150, plus £35 delivery, plus £40 for extended g/tee. Same bed, different name, confirmed by an independent specialist with a phone call to his Sleepeezee rep.

Jokers living in lala land. Same as Comets, Blockbuster's and HMV I'm afraid.

I was looking for a new bed a couple weeks back and decided to have a quick look at dreams, must admit they did seem a bit pricey compared to other companies i looked at.
Anyhow i got a bed from a small company not too far from me,free delivery and take away your old bed for £15.00.
When the delivery guys knocked on door to deliver bed, they asked if i wanted the bed putting together,i was going to do it myself but thought it would save me the bother of doing it,and i gave the guy a ten quid to buy a couple of beers or whatever..
