LOL, JUST HAD TO ASK
Has anyone got a DeTomaso Watch?
just picked one up on ebay on Friday night after seeing pix of one a friend bought recently, looks unusual, so search ebay and picked it up under £40

Talking of cheap watches, I've become a bit of an accidental G Shock buyer - now got four (the missus has one) but two are semi "grown up" analogues.
Anyway I was after a tide watch for surfing use and liked the G-Lide range. At £120 it was a bit much for a digi watch then while scanning a few ads I saw it on Amazon for.... £12!! Bought it, waited a week (assuming it was either an error or a something else) and a half and it arrived - solar atomic, does loads of stuff, nuclear bomb proof. It's no dress watch but I rather like it. Not bad for 1/10 of the RRP!
Pictured here with two others (I can't find the black ion metal Cockpit I hae somewhere). The silver and black one is solar atomic too but as user friendly as the Russian language and has already needed a major "service" (it stopped synching for no reason) - £85. I got it for £95 though and not seen it for less than £250 anywhere so not bad.
The digi one is 13 years old (!) and still fine - not nice looking but stores 100 numbers. Bought it for travelling to Oz and NZ. The numbers were in case we came out from a surf and everything had been nicked (stuck passport numbers and similar on it) - most I paid for a G Shock too - £120!!!
