Seriously, they are amazing creatures. Brave, resourceful, resilient and dedicated.
I'm thinking of sacking the staff and replacing them with Rock Hoppers. The Penguins are much more fun and fish is cheap!

I've seen two of them still one to go, hardy little basterds I'll give them that, even found myself shouting at the TV when one of them was trying to run through the lion Seals that were lying on the beach trying to grab it.

They take some falls off those rocks!

The camera replica penguins are hilarious. Nice shot from egg cam flying away in the mouth off which ever bird it was.

BBC 1, straight in yer face.

If it was actually made for bbc this alone is reason enough for the license fee, and my buying decent tv clichéd accepted.

Sad moment where one very distraught parent tried to put a very frozen baby back into its pouch.

Mr Brant would have that puppy strapped down on life support -in the hope it'll one day be changing his diaper /colostomy bag.

We watched both the programmes and thoroughly enjoyed them. Those creatures are quite amazing in the way that they surive in those awful conditions and also manage to bring up their chicks in such difficult circumstances.

I've often wondered if the perceived less intelligent life on earth has emotions. That particular scene you refer to would suggest so. The other female consoling the mother was very heart warming.

Yes I agree with what you say. The chicks' safety was obviously vital to each mother and they showed great tenderness towards them too.

Absolutely. It makes me feel good just knowing they are out there somewhere completely ignoring the stupid human race.
