Anyone know any credit cards offering 0% or low interest for 6 months +. Ive got an Egg card, just applied for RBOS and Halifax Platinums - just wondering if any more good deals to be had?

ps- MBNA gotta love them, they just keep bringing out new cards and give them to existing holders of other MBNA cards so you can move your balance from one to other to gain lower rate!

Opps was close though, I get a lot of these through the post and remembered it being low compared to all the others I got. One company even offered me a £1000 credit limit and an interest rate of 28%APR
I think with marbles you can choose the style of card. Have always wondered why egg don't do something like this. I quite like the idea of having a Golden Egg card or a Dinosaur Egg card.

Yeah you gotta laugh at these companies who send u a letter saying your approved for their wonderful credit card and they will give you £500 or £1k limit with 28%+ APR. I mean how are they still in business? Or do they take anybody no matter how bad your credit rating? Capital One was one of the ones I got the other day with no introductory int rate and a standard rate of around 25% LOL.

Not had this either, but both Lloyds and MBNA keep offering 'special transfer rates only until end of June'.
I applied for an RBS Advanta card to transfer all my balance off Egg and they set a credit limit lower than my Egg balance Wish they'd told me that at the outset (like Egg do when you apply). Cancelled it the day it turned up.

chris- i have 3 MBNA cards at the moment, they are like No 11 buses! if i used all 3 together i could buy a small house
they are also superb at rates- just call them up and say you are gonna go elsewhere unless they look at you rate- they are good at just dropping it there and then.... try it!

try www.moneysupermarket.com and then go to the credit card section. Always good for comparing rates

if your clearing it cause you dont need credit anymore then get a card with 0% and hold cash in savings accounts depends how much credit they give you as to whether its worth while)
if you are clearing to get a cheaper rate elsehwhere cal MBNA and tell them that- you may be surprised what they offer.

ps- watch capital one- 0% but NOT on transfers.
