White gold :(
The ivory money making scandal, I feel sorry for the poor elephants
A huge profit to be made, bit like the other poor animals that are killed for their skin etc
I vote for the death penalty of those who are caught, after all the death penalty is given to the animals after these scumbags killed them for profit.

I feel really sad about all the innocent and perfectly good Subarus that end up being broken for parts by these scavengers just for profit! These people make me sick only joking corky I agree all animals deserve the right to live without fear of being killed for what god gave them

Poverty drives people to desperate measures. Extinction is their last concern. Desperately sad that all the truly wonderful animals are in countries where they're most at risk.

im sure i heard , a while ago now, but authorities in the parks where poaching was rife, were going to harvest the tusks before the poachers had chance. thus depriving them of their goods and saving the poor animals lives.

IMO ( I don't know what powers the rangers have but I suspect they won't be allowed to shoot on site due to fu*king human rights ) I would shoot the poachers on site, maybe pull their teeth out as well for the crack see how they like it.
On the news yesterday a reporter was interviewing some tw*t who had something like 100 tusks at a value of 20k each which were to be sold on, why is'nt someone kicking his door in stringing him up and destroying the ivory?
As usual people high up the ranks will be turning a blind eye as there's plenty money involved..... String them up as well regardless of their status.
It's this sort of thing that winds me everyone knows its not acceptable but not much gets done about it, every time u hear about it on the news it's not because poachers have been caught or shot its because there's a family of animals shot dead for profit

I'd heard that this method proved to be not effective... the poachers still killed any ''tuskless'' elephants they found so that they wouldn't waste their time tracking them in future. sick b*****s the lot of them.
