Even without the modest service charge is seems they were paying £28,000 for a Methuselah which costs a mere £4890

The one in Liverpool was a London City Trader.


It makes a bottle of Glen Livet malt look like a bargain.

Good luck to them I say, it's their money and they can spend it how they see fit.

I wouldn't mind being a waiter there with those kind of tips.

I went to the roof top gardens in London for my 30th. I thought £79 for 4 Corona's and 4 yeaga bombs was mad!

"Their" money is probably "our" money. Its fine to splash out but what a waste. You'd think they would aprecieate the fact they money could be put to better use.

So IS this a fake bill?
They have spelt 'methuselah' wrong which may give it away..

AND.... why does a Jeroboam of Cristal 'only' cost £5,000 (3ltr).... when a methuselah (6ltr) costs £26,000!
I'd have several Jeroboams pls - and I don't even consider myself a banker or any to do with figures!
