the other night our workplace was broke into,they brought their own tractor unit and hooked it onto one of our stand trailers then loaded 35 tonne of steel bars with one of our forklifts,drove out with the ****ing lot,i hate things like this because its things like this that ends a business

police took 9 hours to come to our site after being rang-*******

no point trying to find the stand trailer now as thats probably been cut up for scrap aswell

****ing scumbags go and get a job and EARN your money you thieving pikey *****

more than likely been sold as opposed to scrapped,all yards are cashless and have been since saturday morning.if that was the intention they have **** out as its worthless.

This sort of thing is happening more and more. Metal theft!

About a month ago a remote neighbour of mine woke up to find his power was off.... the reason???

Because several thieving scum had had it away with the overhead copper power cables delivering the power to his and 5 other houses over half a mile of field. Thye did this at night in the rain. Luckily they took just that bit too long, someone saw them as dawn arrived and the police actually caught them albeit they needed a helicopter to do it.

The guys from the power company said it is happening all over the country right now.

there will be ways around it mate,for every new rule thats comes into effect there will be plenty of people thinking of ways around it

I hear of a local scrap yard that now has a cash machine in their office. You take £100 in scrap into the yard, they give you a £100 pre paid card which you then walk 3 paces over to the machine and take the money out.
