Default Will

I want to do a will but not sure where to start etc.

Do you have a will, do they cost much? What if you don't do one and then die. Is it your wife / partner that get's everything or the state?

We did a Will recently, but it was through work. We opted for a "mirror" will, basically if I die, the wife gets everything and if she dies I get everything. But there are lots of other things to consider too, who will be executors of your estate and who will be guardians if you have dependents and setting up of Trust for dependents. Then who will be reserve executors/guardians 2nd, 3rd or even 4th, who you and the other half die at the same time or if the whole family perishes. Then if there are no surviving dependents or guardians who the estate goes to eg charity. I think the will service cost me £250 through work. You'll definitely need a professional will writing service to ensure there are no ambiguities in your last wishes. If you don't have a will your estate could potentially all go to the state.

Wills can be really complicated, and if you don't do it correctly it can cause more problems than they solve.

If you want, you can PM me and I will send you the name and number of a will writing specialist I meet with every week. That does not mean someone who costs a total fortune, as he is not a solicitor, just a will writing specialist to help people protect themselves and their families at a reasonable cost.

Recommended. Just pick up the phone and don't let doing a price comparison be the reason you don't. Their prices are fair.
