Default NAME & SHAME thread

Not sure if it's in right section ,sorry

I've been reading a few threads and a lot is going on and keep seeing that a 'name and shame' thread should be put up, I'm sick of seeing them so I thought I'd do it seen as no ones got the ***** to do it them selfs.

I might get shot down by the mods for this, but hey ho, it's all for the snet community after all and we look out for each other I belive.

So fire away guys

As much as I agree with you it's a pity the mods won't.

OK Busta, my opinion is that there is a name and shame database required but the mods wont have it. So, create a website, say www.scoobynetscammers.co.uk, and everyone on here can pop across to view without any mod interaction. Link to the sale threads also if required.

Job done.

I agree so all we can do is keep it legal,
Name only if you have genuine proof, that's if the thread doesn't go.

Does owning a database (as opposed to a forum) cost anything? A simple excel spreadsheet would suffice.

You can register a .co.uk domain for £1.99 at the moment. Go on the hot UK deals website and it's on there.

Apparently it has a basic site building tool, too.

Busta, sorry but the forum rules state that "Scoobynet will not allow 'Name & Shame' content within the forums and any such material will be removed. All issues need to be resolved out side of Scoobynet."

Fair enough, but what about the people that name a scammer they have been robbed by, e.g spooks is just 1 out of the big bunch that's mentioned.
People do actually name and shame them and it's not removed, Im only wanting to bring all that info into 1 thread
Regards

Unfortunately we can't read every post on the forum, so if someone has done so, it hasn't been spotted or reported. That doesn't mean it's allowed though.

We have the iTrader system to assist in dealing with unscrupulous sellers on ScoobyNet; but when trading with anyone, on ScoobyNet or otherwise, caveat emptor should always apply.

I agree with your sentiment, but naming and shaming leaves ScoobyNet (and possibly yourselves) open to potentially expensive libel claims. I'd be vary wary of using any medium for such a purpose without being prepared for legal battles.
