Best courier to collect and deliver a set of seats
Just brought a set of recaro front seats. However they are 300 miles away which is a 6hour drive each way.
Would like to arrange a courier to collect but struggling to find one at a reasonable price. Been on online parel brokers like interparcel and parcels to go which I generally use but due to the size and weight of each seat I'm getting quotes from £160 to £300
I've found this company online offering delivery per seat £12.95 + vat which seems really (too) cheap but never heard of them so bit worried in using them tbh.
Anyone ever heard of or used them before?

Will ring round a few local couriers tomorrow.
Anyone know of any other reasonable couriers, or ever delivered a set of seats?
Cheers,
Luke

Do you work for a company that has an account with a courier? I sent a set of Porchse front seats about a year ago via TNT for about £30. Worth asking work if they can help you out.

Try Paisley Freight Badger: https://www.paisleyfreight.com/
Used them many times before for Wheels and Tyres and have always been excellent. I see a lot on Scoobynet using them too. They already list 2 seats for £30 on their website booking.
They use the mainstream couriers, but appear to be better geared up to deal with the quoting and booking of awkward items.

Nice deal if you can get it... I happen to work for a little firm called Royal Mail that dabbles in the courier/delivery business... how much of an employee discount do I get?... A big fat zilch!!

All sorted now. Booked with paisley freight. Great service, highly recommend!
Sounds good in theory, but what happens if one of them members accidentally damages item? Who's liable? Not like using a courier with added insurance.
Or worst case runs off with item!? Seen some sales on here turn into major headaches recently and tbh not the type of hassle I need
