Default 1st time buyer "deals"

Having sold our house and been renting for the last 14 months, would we be treated as a first time buyer again?

I think you would, as you don't own any property.

Are you buying it with a partner? Have they been on a previous mortgage?

You may not fall into a government grant scheme as one question might be: have you ever purchased a house.
I am guessing though.

Yes you'd be classed as a first time buyer again

My wife and i were both on our previous mortgage and will both be on any new mortgage. Planning to buy early next year.
When i go on the mortgage comparison websites they tend to categories you as either: Re-mortgage, Home Mover or First time Buyer.
