Interesting read, thanks for posting.
What an idiotic waste of cars.
Why on earth couldn't low risk parts such as doors, bonnets, glass and seats just be reused? Also destroying alloys seems peculiarly risk adverse.
Mazda did a great job of keeping it quiet though.
