Still not sure what is wrong with this and dont find it strange in the slightest
She has had a change of plan and cant make the gig.
She has listed the tickets on the 4th, 2 days before the event. The end time is irrelevant if there was a BIN on the auction which there clearly was.
Tickets have been sold today on the 5th and she will no doubt meet the winner of the auction to give them the tickets at some point today or tomorrow before the gig starts?
What am I missing, I would have done exactly the same thing

There was no buy it now- straightforward auction set to finish after the concert date (which she has now ended early - sold elsehwere or more likely someone has offered direct on the basis the auction couldnt be left to run its course)
If you would also auction tickets with an end date after the concert itself you're as thick as she is.

She advertised her tickets before the event and sold them before the event. What would have been thick, would be for a buyer to bid post the concert end date. The end date was completely irrelevant, she publicised the sale of the tickets and achieved what she set out to do. Nothing thick about it.

Still failing to see what's thick about the scenario
