I was slightly tied up on Wednesday this week, as my wife gave birth to our new Son at 3am in the morning and I spent the day with them in hospital and trying to close my eyes for a few minutes here and there... some of you may recall the feeling!

Anyway, I would really like to find a copy of a decent respectable newspaper (The Times, or Telegraph) from 10th October 2012 to keep as momento and pass to him to when he's 18 or something - and I completely forgot to try and buy one on the day, and now (as they seem to send them back) it seems it's too late.

Before every copy sold hits the recycling bin, does anyone on here have a good condition copy of The Times or Telegraph that they'd be prepared to post to me? Obviously I'd be more than happy to cover the cost of the paper + postage.

I've tried Facebook friends already, and couldnt raise anything more significant than local free papers!

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Get down to your local library quick. They often hold on to them for a week or so before recycling.

speak to the paper you want direct, should be able to get a proper unsold copy so will be pristine

Does it have to be a newspaper ? Ive got a copy of readers wives that came out on the 10/10/12, i'm sure he'd appreciate that more when he's 18.

Agree with the contacting the newspaper direct. They sell copies for these things, will be about £20 the last time I looked. Will be a pristine copy, not read, no creases etc. Will be worth it...unless its saville the peado all over it.

If you get one your going to have to make sure you vacuum seal it as in 18 years time it will look like a brown paper bag.
