Positive mental attitude.
Hello everyone i am back, how are we all ?.I bought & received a book on this, a few days ago. It's called "The Power Of Positive Thinking By Norman Vincent Peale".It's about changing your life through religion, not destroying it
.Me and my family are Christians by heart anyway. My Grandmother was a dedicated Chrisitan too.She would help sick people
.In my mind i have many jobs my family and relatives would be proud of me doing.
Nath.

Dunno about religion but positive mental attitude helped me in my darkest hour. 3 1/2 years on and I'm employed in a career and on more money to boot.

Why not change your life through an act of will and decent healthy beliefs instead? If you ran out of petrol would you put diesel in the tank? If you were hungry, would you go around eating poisonous toadstools? If you think something needs fixing, then use the right tools for the job

Without the shepherd the sheep wouldn't make their way into the safety of the barn at night. Sheep are stupid animals, they need a guider.
Some people can think for themselves, others need someone to tell them how it's done.

Are you saying that you joined this pyramid selling scheme, received your book, thought I need to shift a sh1tload of these to make some ca$h, I know I'll put a positive thread on Scoobynet saying how fantastic the book is, it really turned my life around, hoping all on ScoobyNet would ask to buy a copy or three.
You then wake up and smell the coffee, realise you've been a ****, and are now back to apologise....
Have I summed this up correctly

Firstly you have to define the meaning of positive thinking, it has to be mental by definition surely!
It is fair to say that Christian thinking embodies honest living and consideration for other people.
That can't be anything to criticise surely!

Errr
. The majority of sheep I see (yes, Welsh) do make their way to the barn when it's cold for shelter, they ain't that thick.
Or are we refering to the Bible? Written by supposed scholars because they could not explain evolution?
Anyone watch the Creationists on BBC3 ?

All I know is that in the darkest hours I find myself touching myself. Then I feel good for a while then put the lights on and feel crap with jizz all over my hand.
