what would you do regarding the damage to your car? They aren't insured.

Seen it before - but that cyclist is a complete bell-end for riding like that, his speed & riding style was totally out of proportion to the prevailing traffic.... utter ****.

Some are
When I used to cycle a lot I was a member of the CTC, not just for the organised rides but for the insurance too.

I'm a regular cyclist and I was thinking the cyclist was in the wrong lane before the police car ever came into the video.

Isn't the left lane the bus lane, and the Policeman undertakes him in the bus lane? Or am I missing something?

Cycles can go in the bus lane.... Why didn't he go back in it instead of holding them up ?

As said I'm willing to bet its actually a bus and cycle lane, every bus lane I've encountered is. Not always painted in the roads but there are signs at the side that say bus and cycle lane.

Cyclists and motorcyclists in certain parts of London are a nightmare. I drive my large van through a lot and they swarm round you launching flat out into tiny gaps and just taking risks expecting everyone else to give way. I saw a full on tear up the other day between a pedestrian and cyclist when the plonker on the bike had run a red light and almost knocked the guy over.
The worst vids are that prat that rides next to the cycle lane and just tries to provoke reactions from car drivers.
