Strange evening ??
Just returned from a 7 mile walk with the dogs.
I saw another dog that can only be described as a sawn off Alsatian, and saw a guy night fishing wearing polished shoes, trouser shirt & tie ??????????

I know what you mean by a sawn off Alsation... my sister recently got one, full size head and body of an Alsation but with 6inch stumps for legs, funniest looking dog I've ever seen!

Back in the late 80s I was up in Llanafan forest for the Welsh Int Rally at around midnight when a Rolls Royce pulled up along the forest tracks and out got 3 guys in white dinner jackets who stood, watched a few cars go by then just got back in their car and went away. Weird.

What are the odds of this happened............... but it did as I watched it on TV.
Brian Smith worked for the AA. He took a day off work and went shopping with his wife in Folkstone. As they were walking up the High St they walked passed a phone box that was ringing.
Brian's wife said any other time Brian would never have bothered but he opened the door and picked up the phone and said "Hello".
He then heard a woman say "Hi Brian I need to know how to send an international fax to Spain" !!!!!!!!!!
Brian was in disbelief as it was a work mate named Sue. He said "Sue, I have the day off and my wife and I have just walked passed a phone box that was ringing so I have just answered it"?
Sue laughed then requested how to send a fax again.
As Brian was explaining about the phone box bit again Sue gasped and said "OMG, I have just dialed you payroll Nr instead of your home phone number.

Yes it is. I was watching Channel 4 several years ago when they had what they called a "weird weekend" full of programs about weird and strange stories.
Brian & his wife were telling the story and the AA confirmed it happened. To make it easier to read & understand I made up the names as I couldn't remember the real names.

Weird things happen to me quite often. Maybe not as bad as the above , but -
I had left my Breitling watch out on Sunday night for my wife to take it to get fixed whatever day she decided to go into town. On Thursday i was driving past a billboard advertising a Breitling watch , John Travolta , and i said to my workmate , why the hell would he make anyone buy a Breitling after all the rumours about him. I then told him in passing that mine was getting repaired some day that week , and just as we turned the corner the wife txt me to say she just arrived at the shop but it was closed on Thursdays. I spoke to her later and she sai she sent the txt immediatly after she seen the closed sign.

Just thought it was weird as
1- i have never seen a Breitling billboard for starters
2 - i was sitting right in front of it when the wife text to say she was at the door to get it fixed
3 - she couldve picked any day /time , but it just happened to be when i was staring at the billboard.

Another strange but true story on the same program as the AA thingy was of a couple that had just bought a small farm after the old boy that owned it had died.
Cant remember the new owners names but let say John and Linda Smith.
They had moved in and started a bonfire as they were clearing out some sheds.
As Linda Smith walked up the the bonfire to throw some more rubbish on it there was a large noise. At the same time the side of her neck became instantly hot.
She called her husband and he came running over. On examining his wife's neck a live bullet had been accidentally thrown in the fire with some rubbish.
It had lodged itself in Linda Smiths earring and had just two letters on it.
They were LS (or her actual initials in real life).
Cant remember the new owners names but let say John and Linda Smith.

Back in the mid-90s, we all came back in a minibus from a nightclub on new year's day (much worse for wear). Was about 3am in the morning when we turned into my road... Only to witness some bloke walking in the middle of said road, whilst holding a large, heavy upturned table on his head!
