Evening Mr Mort

Let's not forget he never retired but had his license taken away due to coke.

Not sure it's about dollar as he received 20 mill for the Mayweather fight.

Would love to see him back on top but he needs some form of defence and cant be open all the time.

They reckon he has lost 3 stone already with 2 months left to peak.

as a boxer he has achieved greatness, his kostya tszyu fight was probably his greatest moment in boxing, but as a lad at school he knicked my cheese and onion crisp out of my bag and i was somewhat unimpressed personally ide love to see him back at the top but im afraid, for me.. his career ended right here and it should stay that way

Depends on his punch resistance as it was looking pretty poor in his last few fights, he needs to stop using his face as form of defence and use a little head movement.

That said he could have a couple of tune up fights and go for a fight with Khan, would be massive and win or lose would be a good fight to go out on infront of his fans

Unfortunately, i think it's a bad idea. He has a great record, that i can't really see him improving.

he gonna get fecking battered about the ring. after he gets a welt in the mouth of course. Not a good idea IMHO. i hope he doesn't end up brain damaged or worse, dead because he is short of a pound or two.

He's clearly broke and needs the cash, it never ends well these return fights, saying that last time wasn't he on coke? Maybe he's clean and fighting fit... Maybe not.

he wasnt the type to go round picking fights at school, mainly because everyone knew about him and what he did. He was a very good footballer at school and turned down a place at man city to go with boxing.

i very much doubt he's skint judging by his house and bentley.. he has his gym/fitness centre (near my house) his promotion business, his own clothing range besides his millions throughout his career. i think he just misses the sport and obviously thinks he still has what it takes, knowing ricky he wouldnt come back if he couldnt still do it. i hope he can but i still think its the wrong desision

Assets are easy to hide someones debt. I wonder if Mr Taxman has sent him a hefty bill.

Enjoyed his fights and he seems like a top bloke so I hope hes coming back tot he ring for the right reasons.

Saw him on a recent TV interview. Looked well fat. He'll get battered unless the organisers pick someone like Steven Hawkins as opponent.

It certainly isn't for financial purposes. Just pride.
