Rock Bottom
Well I knew it was only a matter of time but today I've hit rock bottom. Me and my missus of over 6years called it quits as we haven't been getting on well since I started my my new job and now I'm moving out of my home to move into a pokey house I don't even like but its the only semi-decent rental property that isn't in a complete dump of a council estate that I can afford.
This is ****.

In these days of so-called equality, I don't get why it's always the guy who's expected to move out, if there's no kids involved.
Edit:
Now re-read thread, and see above comment isn't massively relevant here. +1 for lodger though.

Cheers for the supportive words guys. I haven't been dealing with it at all well to be honest and have slid into a depressive state. All I've done for the past week is go to work, go to the gym, watch x-files and sleep. I can't even remember the last time I had a proper meal.

Did you split on mutal terms? could you not both live in the same house? If not, could you post some of your vids up or is it too soon to ask.
Serious note though, sometimes hitting bottom means second time round you can do things differently which may be better.
The first year will be the hardest as you will think back - this time of year we did x y z ...

Its a tough one breaking up,do it a few times and you do become a bit hardened to it.I'm having a dilemma about work at the moment,i said i don't want to work europe so much/being away most times anymore, but i will give up a few perks at work. The trade off is i will be at home more, torn between the two at the mo,need to give an answer by tomorrow, and i ain't got a clue.
So we're all having problems...

However, ****e you may feel now, you'd feel a lot worse if you were together under bad terms for another 6 year then looked back at even more wasted time that you could have used to create a better life for yourself.
This is an opportunity for you to find something that will bring happiness into your life rather than just foster boredom conflict and indifference.
All the best!

Three tips Jamz having been down this route before and lost everything.
Don't go off your food
Don't turn to drink and drugs
Don't become isolated
Get a normal routine established and get on with life, what's happened has happened, if it is beyond salvage or recovery, chalk it up to experience and move on.
I don't wish to sound unkind, but if you think things are ****e for you at the minute, this may put things into perspective. https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...ease-help.html

The best thing to do is to get revenge. Post naked pics of her on here for us all to see, that'll learn her
Seriously though, chin up, things always get better

Keep yer chin up mate, been there, like others have said, eat properly, don't become a stranger to your mates and think of the positives

JAMZ. I know how you must be feeling right now but at least you have the chance to make a new start -perhaps your other half(ex) has a younger sister? Smash her back doors in? PC? No. Fun? Hell yah.

Sorry to hear that Jamz
My tip, get together with your mates regular and just start doing the social thing. Go and play some pool and just keep yourself busy with friends. DO NOT stay in on your own or it will just make you feel worse than you probably already do.
Keep your chin up and look to the future.

Ok, Rock Bottom now but a few months down the line you will probably be better off, certainly than being in a relationship that isnt working, its amazing how life needs these situations to take a turn, its kind of like a Forest fire looks so bad and then things grow back bigger and better. Just stick with it and keep positive, keep away from excessive alcohol as it doesnt help, honest.

Don't mean to make light of your situation but this was exactly my first thought. All you can do is give it time and just keep doing what your doing - eat though!

Is it really over?
do you both want it to work?
or are you both taking the easy way out....
have you actually tried sitting down and talking openly.....
you may not hear what ho want to hear, but at least you will know one way or the other.
been there and done that and gone each of the ways!
