I'll be there in my arctic silver ppp wrx. Got grandstand tickets.
My pal "Fandango" (Ancient SN member - hasn't logged in for years) is coming along in his racing green classic.

Would be good to meet up if you're there.

We were going to go but going to Marbella now instead, at least we'll have plenty of charcoal for the bbq

To anyone thinking of going it is an amazing sight seeing a Top Fueler go up the strip and well worth the trip.

Saw several VW's on trailers going towards silver stone on Friday. Some really stunning classics.
There was a brava that had the same panel colours like the old polo's. Each panel was a different colour.

My mate went yesterday and was blown away by the 9000bhp Top Fuelers!! He said the difference between their c.4sec terminals, compared to those of the class below, is almost too much for one's brain to process! Said he felt a bit nauseous, what with the shaking ground and air vibrating his ribs, etc. lol

The sod asked if I was going with him on Sat (I've never witnessed the TFs before)... Then he decided to go yesterday without confirming with me! Selfish bugger.
