eBay Question - Cash on Collection only?
I have a couple of old pushchairs/prams to sell. Not had much luck in the classified so will try to sell on ebay. Due to the size of them I don't want to post, but want to offer collection only. I know you can select this as a delivery type, but can I specify in my ad that it's only Cash on Collection? eBay make you offer PayPal, but I don't want to hand them over before I physically get my money as I've ready the problems people have with the buyer disputing it once they have collected it.
Thanks

Whenever I use Ebay, I always put "cash on collection" in the advert as I can't be bothered with there fees, people getting clever trying to claw money back, after thoughts, etc, etc.
I'm sure you have to tick on the accept paypal box when you list it, but just make sure you clearly state the "COC" part and even type it a couple of times in the ad for mentally challenged.

Pretty much everything we've sold on ebay has been collection only.
Some have done paypal, some have done cash. Not had any issues (yet).
If doing via papal just beware of this: http://community.ebay.co.uk/question...Pay/2000044794
Make sure all correspondance is done using ebay's email system...don't do anything via any other means. That way if it is a scammer doing a "item not recieved" claim. Ebay can see the arrangements you made on their system. Accompany that with signed receipts on collection. If you do it via phone/text or anther email account, you'll lose your money, a signed reciept on its own isn't enough.
