yes its now gone
The last four water companies have lifted thier hose pipe ban as from today. It seems more like a joke but Sky news has confirmed it. I think it has rained that much over the last two months that no one had a chance to use a hose pipe.

LOL I never had a hose pipe ban and the toilet cistern has been leaking for the past 3 months.
I'd have fixed it by now. But its one of those fancy compact cisterns that uses a really tiny valve weight...tried two neither fit, and can't get a new diaphragm either.
