I have just heard on the news that Rebekah Brooks had been sending supportive texts to David Cameron and some of them have ended with a rather affectionate tone using LOL or lot's of love.

Is this just the media being retards? LOL is laughing out loud isn't it, when has it been used to say lots of love?
