I personally wouldn't bother. Keep it in a locker at work. Buy a good case.
I've just got one myself. I've had an HD7 for nearly two years now, never insured it, dropped it a few times, it was always in the case and came to no harm. I've only ever read bad reviews about the bubble, especially when it came to theft claims.

How many have you broke before? Its guaranteed for 12 months anyway unless you do some drastic damage which could happen to any phone.

Save your money not worth it,unless you're a real clumsy git..Never had phone insurance, and only ever almost lost a phone once, when i was in the forces on leave, and we decided to jump a cemetery wall for a short cut..
Bloody **** ourselves when we seen two tall figures walking towards us and we ran back to the wall we climbed over...

The rule I go by with insurance is...

a. Must I have it legally ?
b. Am I almost certain to need to claim ?

Apart from that, don't bother making the bankers richer.

Stick it on the house insurance policy

Costs me £7 for 2 iPhones and iPads and laptop

Guy that works with me pays £13 a month insurance and said it was a bargain as he got it down from £15

DUH

He will never be rich

Agree with a. b. is factored into the price of the insurance.

On average insurance is never worth it. But you have to consider whether you can cover the cost if the insured event happens. I would take house insurance because I couldn't afford a rebuild if the house burnt down. But appliance insurance I wouldn't want my 5 year old washing machine to be repaired when the insurance cost more than a new machine.

I once had phone insurance and claimed for a new one it, sent me a new one out within a couple of days, then got my next months bill... which included a £40 "admin" charge for dealing with the claim!

Why would you need to be using it whilst working, unless its for the job purpose which as a chef I doubt?

I've a qualified chef, and in the kitchens I have worked in, there is no time to phone or text anyone, in fact your lucky to get a 10min break in a 10 hour shift!

There is only one kitchen I can think of where you would have time to use your phone, and no doubt feel fitting within the crowd of other mobi users, and thats Mac D's LOL

Rob

ps - I have never had insurance on any of my phones in the last 13 years, and never lost or damaged one (touch wood).
