Yes. Lets not go down the route of comparing it to other sentences though, some are unreasonably severe, some unreasonably lenient.

its the way this country is going, being racist is worse than being a paedo now.
not that i condone racism at all but its just a shame racism doesn't work both ways.

Exactly. I've heard some racists are pretending to be paedos to get their sentences reduced. This country is going to the dogs!

It wrong. I don't think people should be jailed for saying racist things per se.

She certainly gives the impression of being an unpleasant piece of work with that kind of behaviour!

Some people say equally worse and even far worse on internet forums with or without being under the influence, and all they get is a temporary ban from online sites. So, 21 weeks real jail is not too bad to get away for a real life culprit.

Funny you should say that as I so nearly wrote that but thought the usual suspects would get on my case. Agreed at least 21 weeks is some proper jail I guess, but whe will be out in 8 of course.

Do you think so?
Bit uppish IMO.
People get less (on a pretty regular basis) for assault.
I personally would prefer to be verbally abused than hit.
She is vile and ignorant and shameless no doubt.
There is a part of me that makes me think her crime is more worthy of derision than jail.
ps. I like the condition that she can't use public transport whilst drunk.

Well maybe the sentencing for assault needs looking at then!

She shouldn't have got a thing. The state is the criminal here.

If her first offence it seems a long time albeit she'll only serve half I guess for good behaviour, should teach her a serious lesson though.

No one should rant about someone elses colour or origin of course however if it were a white person being abused would it end up the same way

TX.

Well here is a bit of contrast in sentencing.
Obviously a completely different set of circumstances.

Truth comes out of people when their pissed! She got what she deserved, if she didn't get sent down then it's like saying to other racist people it's ok you'll only get a fine etc.
Suppose they have to set an example, even though racial hatred is hidden behind closed doors nowadays, but still very alive.
