Its warmed up a bit now, was a bit nippy though when it was -34 and i had to scrape the car Now its cold in the morning but up to about + 17 by lunch time.

Advantageof the cold was , all the Russians were indoors and their cars were broken due to no antifreeze, now its warm they are all out drinking Vodka and generally being abusive, and driving their cars which are now running.

When they see me, they think ATM ......... they make withdrawals using a stabbing motion, usually with a knife depending on how pissed they are....

Its nice to know you care tho

Passes the time I suppose!

They could have used the Vodka to replace the antifreeze surely!

Hi Beastie

With the job that I do I get to travel abroad every now and again
and a couple of years ago I was down to go to Russia and got my visa and
everything but at the last moment my work sent me to Albania instead
so my friend took my place on the Russian trip and around 4 of my workmates
went aswell.
when they were in Moscow they decided to go for a drink in a club
so they were sober and ordered a round of drinks and it was taken to the table
by the barman and after they finished the one drink each they ordered they all blacked out
when they regained conciousness they were all separated and all in different parts of Moscow
waking up in the streets at around 7 AM with no wallets or watches and with bruises and cuts.
So they had all been drugged by the barman and targeted by thugs and robbed and beat up.
I am so glad my work sent me to Albania instead

From working in Russia what have been your experiences there bestie ?

Only thing was they are quite clever at fleecing you with the ruble, dollar, sterling , ruble conversion trick!!!

Sounds like you had a narrow escape My job takes me to Moscow but i am based in the opposite side of the country in what was the poorest part - Sakhalin Island. It still is in many respects. 10 hours time difference to home and roads made of potholes joined together. My best experience so far was walking on the ice in the winter when the sea is frozen for as far as you can see, and finding the abandoned trawler fleet amongst it.

Moscow is like heaven compared to here, but i went to Helsinki last month and i was so happy to be able to talk again. Working alone .... with 120 Russians to look after isnt much fun.

The women have their heads wired up wrong as well..........
