M1 roadworks
I'm travelling south tomoz from the midlands anyone know what sort of delays I can expect on the M1? Is it still from jct 10 onwards?

depends on time matey, middle of the day prob be ok, later on in the evening will be murder

Going down bout 7 ish then back in the evening so may be better coming back m40 then across to norhampton for m1 ?

Theres no longer any roadworks from junction 11 southwards. The roadworks start from Junction 11 north to just before 14. So you may get stuck there.
It was murder Saturday morning, closed for five hours because of an accident at junction 10.

M25, M40 if you can..
M1 is ****3ed! ur driving at 50mph for miles and miles..

And don't even consider going anywhere near the M6 .... ever...... for the next 2 years.
(between Jcn12 - where the queue generally starts to J7 where the actual roadworks start

Thanks for the heads up..can this be avoided by going on the Toll?

I went from the M11, down the M25 to Heathrow last week..took me 45mins
no more road works there..

YEP - M6 Toll is my lifesaver at the mo!
Robbing barstewards have £5.50 a go off you tho..... but trust me, its worth it at times!

If you're going SE then I'd do the A14 from j19 M1 to the M11

I went m1 then across past silverstone to m40, good clear run. M25 pretty ****ty on way back tho
