Default Wenger or Tissot a few models, cant decide?

Dont know too much about watches but after a little research I think Iv narrowed it down to two brands and a few styles. These seem well made, not too expensive and rugged enough to wear whenever. The Wenger Squadron and Tissot PRS516 seem to be of a similar size, the Tissot T-Race is a bit chunkier and has a few mm bigger face. Any insight / opinions, other ideas from people in the know would be much appreciated.

Tisso tfor me, without a doubt - Wenger are one of two Swiss army knife makers (not many people realise that two firms supply the military and claim to be THE original), and have nothing to do with watches.

Personally Id save a little more and look a little harder and go for a mechanical Tissot chrono. This uses a Valjoux movement and will be 10x better in every way.

I also like the Tissot Visodate, although its not a chrono.

I'd say Tissot, but I'm biased as I have a PRC200 (Think there is a PRC 200 Chrono - mine isn't the chrono).

I dont particularly need a Chrono for function but just find it pleasing to the eye

I can see the superiority in the mechanisms build quality in a mechanical watch and its obvious charms but I think I would require a bigger budget to do it justice.
I currently wear a couple of different Fossil fashion watches everyday and also a Seiko Kinetic Arctura 5M420E30 from 1997. Iv got a long way to go before I can strive to the heights of a decent mechanical watch!! lol
