I can understand it for newer members, to stop people joining up just to sell stuff.
But I think the longer serving members should still be allowed to sell.
Years ago I sold a few bits to fellow scoobynetters, and they got some great bargains. I even sold my scooby on here, but under the present ruling I'm no longer able to offer anything for sale to scoobynetters
I'm a paying member but have had wanted posts removed. Is there only a certain level of paid membership which allows wanted or for sale posts, or was it an error?
Can't really remember but when I first joined as a paying member I was after a few bits & had wanted posts removed. I never tried again as seemed a waste of time, but it did make me wonder what I was paying for especially as I still can't post pictures. Especially frustrating as I pay nothing on 22B & type RA,but I can post pictures there no probs & I haven't had wanted posts removed & I pay nothing.

Your level of membership allows for full access to the marketplace to post both sales threads and wanted adverts. I have no idea why posts in the past would have been removed, unless you were not showing as a paid up member for some reason??? Is it possible that subscription could have run out for a short time before renewing? Sometimes it is possible that if membership expires, an ad will be pulled as it could be thought to be a glitch that has allowed a non-paying member to post in that section. If this was to happen, and membership was renewed, then just get in touch with one of us and we can put the advert back.
As for pictures, I am sorry but I can't help there. The only way to post pictures up on here that I know works/how to do, is to use photobucket to host them and copy and paste them here.
ye was just wondering as on my other forum you can sell for free but have to be a member for 50 days
There have been various discussions about this, here is the main one with regards to selling (in the same section, you will find the extension to the wanted area).
OK I'll try to post ads again & see what happens. Don't understand why we should need photo bucket when on other forums you just add your photos to an album where you post from. It just seems unnecessary to me & should be simplified especially for paying members.

You don't need photo bucket, as Kieran has kindly pointed out. I didn't say you did, only that I am a technical moron and only know how to post pictures using photo bucket.
