Default No thread about the local election results?

Surprised no one has posted, thought it might at least tempt Lewis out from his hiding place....

I think that interest is at an all time low. It seems to me that no party is capable of doing a decent job now. And they are all the same.
Personally I voted for a local independent, no idea what he stands for but it's as good as anything.

Not a great turn out though was it.
Anyway, no surprises in the direction of the votes.

That said I couldn't be arsed voting and weirdly our Lib Dem councillor got voted out in favour of a Conservative but not by much. I would have voted Lib Dem too

What pisses me off is the fact that I work in London, our office is based in London so we pay our rates etc there, my daily commute is largely based in London so public transport affects me yet because I live outside London I am not allowed to vote for the London Mayor

And yet a whole bunch of dodgy voting can go on by a bunch of dodgy immigrants who end up having more say than I do...bloody joke.

If that twatting mug faced liberal loving ken gets in again, I am bloody moving the company

As above, i think most people view all the parties as bad as each other.

Yep. I had better things to do. I think it was on the news this morning, only 39% bothered.
You would think they would realise, folks are sick to death of the lot of them

The whole thing was a non event. People are fed up with Millimetre and his band of mindless prats who previously dropped the country into the dwang as well as finding nothing much to be admired in a man who makes promises to get elected and conveniently forgets the promises after he has been elected and then does nothing of note anyway but just lets the country run itself while he spends his time trying to keep his feet under the table with all the other world leaders.

No one else of note to vote for anyway, so how can people find any significant interest in an election?

Les
