Default Advice on scratch removal please

Just bought an oldish 206 and it has some scratches above wheel arch where it scraped a wall. Not down to metal but I would like to try and hide them. Can't afford to have whole panel done so was hoping to use a colour match spray can after T-cutting the area. It's Sapphire Blue metallic btw. Is this about right?

Cheers, David

can you pop a pic up, if its a large area then you may be best spraying, if its little scratches then a touch up pen and build the layers up may look better.

Thanks - sorry no pics as haven't collected car yet. Chipex a bit on the expensive side perhaps?

Mixed reviews on stone chips never mind scratches.

Possibly a bit expensive.
I've used it several times now on chips, not on a scratch.
Various degrees of success, from almost invisible at close range to hidden unless you look hard for it
