Default Making a paypal payment in USD

Hi

I want to buy something off ebay that requires paypal payment in US dollars.

I can't seem to figure out what exchange rate paypal will use. Any ideas?

Thanks

Thanks David!

I'm a little confused. My paypal acct is linked to a visa debit card (unconfirmed bank acct). Does this mean I pay the exchange rate that paypal is quoting or one that will be imposed by the card company?

Many thanks

Sorry, haven't a clue. But I would guess it's the Paypal rate and they draw down visa card funds in sterling.

Is this a large amount say over 500 bucks?

Thanks SN72. I'll see the amount before I confirm? Because if it's more than I want to pay I want to negotiate with the seller.

David, it's about $350
