So many strange people on forums
What is it with forums that attracts so many stange people and weirdos.
Some are nice people if you meet them but keyboard warriors on forums.
Others are just strange full stop...
Is it the Subaru brand attracting these people.
Rant over

Anonymity combined with different motives for being on-line!
Some want to post as themselves and contribute to a forum the same way they would to conversations off line.
Some just like to vent their spleen to an audience where there are no real world social implications should they offend anyone.
Some like to re-invent their persona on-line and make a name for that persona
Some are just bored and post irreverant stuff to pass the time
Some are just t*ssers acting up on-line just as (some) of them would off line.
It takes all sorts as they say, but the last lot don't last long when we get wind of them!
This picture sums things up, I reckon!

I'm as weird in real life as I am on here, infact I'm quite restrained on here
This was confirmed by the look of the owner of a house I was looking at to buy and after I explained why I needed a large garden/outbuilding. Pretty certain I heard her say "that guy's nuts" after the front door closed behind me.

The problem is you're focusing on the things in life that don't really matter. When I was a kid I had hopes and dreams. We all did. But over time, the daily grind gets in the way and you miss the things that really matter, even though they are right in front of you, staring you in the face. I think the next time you should ask yourself "Am I on the right track here?". I don't mean to be rude but people like you I really pity. So maybe you could use the brain cells you have and take advantage of the knowledge I have given you now. Good luck.

Weirdo's are ok, eclectic is good. What you don't want is someone sending you and others PM's containing threats of violence, then acting all innocent when called out. THAT doesn't have a place on car forums IMO.
Enjoy your day.

It's people like Pete who baffle me. The guy has spent a good chunk (around 15% if he is to be believed) of his life creating the "King of Scoobynet" persona. Crazy...... unless he is like that in real life
