The Apprentice 2012

On now on BBC1. Well this years set of "entrepreneurial" muppets are out to make complete idiots of themselves (Probably because they couldn't get on Dragon's Den!) and they've pulled every cliché out of the book.

Such compulsive viewing.

It's pretty poor, but at least it provides some laughs. Was interesting to see the self-professed alfa male shying away from being team leader.

The format seems to be:-

Get a task.
Discuss the task ad nauseum.
Carry out the task poorly.
Sit in front of Ol' Tate n Lyle working to the mantra 'the best form of defence is attack', big yourselves up and generally create cringeworthy viewing.
Someone goes.

Rinse and repeat.

Utter dogsh1t.

I totally agree with you. This first episode was very dull indeed. Not worth watching unless the drones start headbutting one another pretty sharp-ish. IMO they should bring in that Stuart bloke in again. He may not be a looker or the next generation Alan Sugar, but at least the bloke had some kick about him due to his childish attitude.
