Trans-Siberian Express
Time has come about thinking of packing the backpack again. Now this might be a long shot but has anyone any experience of the Trans-Siberian Express? Id like to think of getting a train to Moscow straight from London with a couple of city stops in Europe to break it up then do the whole hog, Moscow - Beijing. If its possible - it actually seems like theres just too much damn information to take in on the net about it.
And off course the big decision is do you do it in winter? Siberia looks awful during the summer months and off course its known for its snowy landscape.
Prices look pretty reasonable if Im honest (forgetting the expensive flights home) but just finding info on the journey alone is hard enough, let alone researching every stop and seeing where is best to stay over for a night or two.
