The writing may be in German but the numbers are in English.

Note the diesel is cheaper than the petrol. Same as France and Spain.
Proof UK diesel drivers are being ripped off. Both fuels cost about the same to produce (you cant produce petrol without producing diesel, and vica versa).

I thought it was well known that diesel in the UK was taxed higher then petrol.
This is why it's a higher price.

I see your point about the V-Power petrol.
We only get one choice of diesel and its around the £1.42 mark around my way. Most would love to be able to get diesel for £1.27

Remember the days when hardly anyone had a diesel and it was half the price of petrol....... blatant profiteering by the oil companies and the govt.

I'm guessing that Ali knows that hence the rip off comment
Tbf though it does kind of follow the price of oil:

Yes V-Power is 100RON over here and Aral/BP Ultimate is 102RON
I mainly use the 102 Ultimate in my car as it is slightly cheaper then the Shell stuff.

I have seen diesel creeping around £1.48-£1.49 a litre at a few of the rural garages, I reckon they are scared to put it past £1.50. Thank **** it's nearly summer, time to run the 306 on 100% svo.

Always seems to me that the most objectional part is the amount of the price we pay that is purely tax.

While in Denmark this Christmas just gone, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that before 10am in the morning fuel prices are generally 10% cheaper than other times.
Some of the local fuel stations were taking even more than 10% off
Don't recall the exact price but it was a little cheaper than the UK.
