The thought that crocodiles are in the habit of dragging you under until you are drowned and then munching you up puts me off the idea of getting too close!

Crocs will not attack underwater. But there is always a chance they may defend themselves if threatened!

From what I was told when I was out in Darwin,I would prefer not to put that to the test!

Good programme though.

I have seen saltwater crocodiles enter the water in Malaysia, you might be lucky to out run them on land, but you will not out-swim them once they are in the water.

I was in a small boat in a mangrove, where an over enthusiastic tourist knocked a viper out of a tree, the thing dropped about 5ft into the bottom of the boat, the bloke was so shocked he jumped out of the boat and into the water, within seconds two crocodiles which I was trying to photograph at the time entered the water, the bloke had a very lucky escape in my opinion as it was a very vigilant tour guide who reacted very quickly to get him back into the boat before dealing with the snake. He would not believe my wife and I when we told him about the crocodiles, when I showed him my photographs he went very pale indeed.

I've found it interesting as obviously not that is known about Crocs since they can't be tamed BUT that said, would I get in the water with them? Would I f$%k! adrenaline rush it maybe no way in hell would I do that.
