1/7. New series. Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May put three supercars through their paces in Italy. Their weapons of choice are the 691bhp Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren's hi-tech MP4-12C, and a British brute in the form of the Noble M600. The journey begins at Nardo, a high-speed testing ground so vast it can be seen from space, and includes a nerve-wracking drive in Rome before reaching its conclusion with a timed challenge against the Stig at the Imola circuit. The trio also look forward to some of the 2012's most exciting cars and are joined by a celebrity guest (will.i.am) who takes the wheel of the Reasonably Priced Car.

I wouldn't bother. I've been a huge fan over the years, but that one really is not worth worrying about if you missed it.

I wouldn't get your hopes up too much for this series... just like what everyone did for the Christmas special and the large majority of us were all let down.

I really hope they don't try too hard on this new series or act stupidly immature and predictable because it will be embarrassing to watch otherwise.

I'm not expecting to learn much about cars. Will still watch it though just in case..
Every now and then they do a good show, but it's getting rare..

I wish they'd drop the 'star with something to plug' in a crap car segment.

That show is ridiculous, copying humour that isnt yours is just not funny, mind you Topgear UK isnt that funny anymore either but its still much better than the USA attempt.

Agreed. This is my least favourite part of the show.

Still looking forward to this new series though

I'm looking forward to the new show next week, although I have to say I was very disappointed with the India special edition at Christmas.

Not got high hopes. BUT

Regardless of how poor it is, it the ONLY thing worth watching on a sunday evening!

That's why I always miss the christmas specials as they stick it on some daft time during the week.

The first 2 episodes will be good and the rest sh1te...like the last few years. It`s as though they blow most of the budget on the first couple of episodes. Not my thing anymore.

Have to disagree, although the format may be copied the guys deliver it more naturally and least they can actually drive their cars (especially the racing driver dude).

Used to agree with your point of view but alas no longer
