Six days in I dropped my iPhone 4S and broke the screen. Oooops silly me! My insurance wants £100 excess towards the fix, which is £140 for a new phone!

The worst thing is, I dropped it onto a plate, and broke that as well!

Did you have it delivered or was it collected from a store? Sometimes items get damaged in transit

Good shout, but it was collected!! Im going to get it repaired 'independently', if you know what I mean!!

Take it in to apple shop, you will be suprised how helpful there can be ;-)

Ive been Shane, 100 mile round trip to Bristol! They offered to replace it for £140. As I was leaving another Apple guy pulled me and asked if I had sorted my problem out. I told him no, and it seemed like he was going to sort me out. Not quite sure what happened but he didnt help me out!!

The plate has been thrown out. I popped to the Royal Doulton help centre but they would only replace the plate at £30. Shame.
