Surround Sound advice
Ok so we have an LG 42PG3000 Plasma TV, an LG HT304SU 5.1 ch DVD Home Cinema System, Sky Box and Xbox 360.
Issue we have is the surround sound does not have an Optical port yet the TV does. Now I know we can buy a converter but we will only get 2.1 sound.
So is it possible to buy just a box which will fit the LG speakers? I don't really doesn't want to rip up half the carpet to re-wire new speakers.
Any other options? Or can anyone recommend a good system up to £150 to replace which has an Optical port?
Its just for a small/medium sized sitting room.

Your best bet is to buy an av amplifier that will do multiple connections and give you great flexibility

only thing is, to get the best results you need an active subwoofer (mains powered) so add one of these
