Your Father did in fact bring you up correct - there is no such thing as magic.

A lot of Dynamo's stuff was obvious rubbish.

Changing the woman's tattoo where he was very obviously wiping off coverup make-up and she was a stooge; walking on water and other obvious set-ups.

Some were more convincing but the fact that some were so obvious undermines any credibility.

I would pay to see Gerry Sadowitz anyday - much more impressive in my view.

Okay cheers for the link and okay yep maybe dad was correct after all there is no such thing as magic !! makes you wonder why the folk in the pool with him did not check exactly where he has walked over the water and notice there was this plexiglass in there ??!! which makes me wonder even more if the folk around him know exactly what is going on but to anyone else ie. spectators outside the pool it looks totally unbelievable ??!!

seen any off his other stuff ? bending a glass given to him ? making two people apparantly know what each other is thinking etc, stopped a guy on the street, asked him his name and produced a credit card from his pocket with the same guys name on it !! - very impressive to watch !!

Lies! Filthy Lies!!!!

Watched a couple of episodes and to be honest he is very good but as always there is an explanation.

Walking on water
Phone in bottle
Jumping cards
Hand through glass

He is very good at slight of hand. He isn't Bradfords answer to Gandalf.

I watched it last night, was pretty amazed.
How did he get the mobile into the bottle?
How did it do that "matrix" move?
How did he make those cards "dance"/move with out him touching them?
How did he walk on the Thames? (plexiglass or not, the movement of water would have revealed the platform he would have walked on, plus those kyakers would have grounded on the plexiglass when they went passed)
How did he move the person's tan line from her wrists to her upper arm?
How did he bend and twist the glasses and beer bottle?

It's all witchcraft I tell you!!

Phone in the bottle is easy, look at the guy behing him he passes him the dummy bottle.
Matrix move must be some kind of metal contraption
Cards dancing are wires
Walking through glass - he just walks round, check the bouncer cover the view.
HD is great you can pause and frame watch which explains quite a few.
Some of them I havent got a clue though, hand through glass is great.

He was in my office last december.
I have to say, even some of the slight of hand tricks were pretty amazing.

The walking on water thing has put me right off him, as somebody pointed out it's been nicked off somebody else and sooo obvious.

Have you also noticed that most of the 'victims' he chooses on the streets never look particularly bright? Now I wonder why that is.........

I don't see a glass platform, if that were the case, it would be even more amazing than the trick in erecting a 20m high platform in the Thames on a soft clay river bed in a fast flowing river without anyone noticing.

..and how the hell do you do this?

jonc what so you reckon hes actually walking on water and defying gravity in the 2nd one??????????

The camera angle hides the plexiglass platform and you can quite easily secure it. Of course people would of noticed, but for the filiming and editing of course this is not shown or mentioned.

2nd one I have no idea, but probably some kind of wire setup.

18seconds in right leg is to straight and he limps , stumbles slightly . its a brace around the waist connected to right leg , with a stagered bend at the knee like a double glazed window mechanism . allowing him to bend at a single angle. while being supported by the bracket , (anyone mechanically minded should be able to see right through that one )1.47 seconds in you cal almost see the outline of bracket at the upper thigh area (trousers are to straight)

What about the pair of kayaks that went behind him, they would have surely grounded on the platform, the tidal flow would reveal the platform with a bulge in the water. Also I'm not so sure whether it would be that easy in securing a hidden platform at the depth he walked out to on a soft clay bed and for the platform to be at the exact height that would allow him to do that trick. The Thames river rises and falls quite significantly and is used by a lot of vessels and therefore markings/buoys would have to be laid out on the river to prevent an accident.

On the 2nd one, what would be securing the wires?

I agree its pretty wild to think that was done with a perspex platform with the location it was done in, that said its obviously still an illusion and I have no idea how it was pulled off.

The Matrix one footed balance has already been mentioned though, was defo a mechanical leg brace of some sort, again hes done this a few times and on one particular occassion you could see around his knee area that wasnt his natural shape of the knee lol.

kayaks could simply go around it, like I said the editing n camera angles could quite easily give the impression of something else. Probably find the kayakers were actors/paid sportsmen anyway.

How do u know the river bed was still soft clay, maybe just maybe they rigged something up to deal with that?

Obviously the tv production crew had paid to use the area! hence no other traffic or waves lol
